Знак овальной формы, состоит из двух ветвей: дубовой - справа и лавровой — слева, в нижней части перевязанных лентой, а в верхней части расходящихся. Между ветвями расположен государственный герб в виде двуглавого орла со скипетром и державой, увенчанного двумя малыми и одной большой Императорскими коронами. В дальнейшем данный тип знака будет обозначаться как «академический». Знак весь серебряный.

Badge, marking the graduation from Nikolaevsky (Nicholas') Academy of General Stuff.

The badge is oval in shape and consists of two branches: an oak branch on the right and a laurel one on the left. At the bottom the branches are tied up by a ribbon, while their upper ends fork. Between the branches there is the State Emblem representing a double-headed eagle with the sceptre and the orb, topped with two small and one big Imperial crowns. Hereafter the given badge type is called «academic». All silver.

Silver open rhombus covered with red enamel, the lower end obtuse and the upper one acute. The upper end of the rhombus is topped with a silver State Emblem. In the centre of the rhombus there are the gold Cyrillic letters И and К (School of Intendants). The lower sides of the rhombus are covered with silver laurel and oak branches.

Silver State Emblem surrounded from the bottom with a silver laurel and oak half wreath, the top of which does not cross the line of the upper shield in the State Emblem. A gold Hippocratic cup is superimposed on the intersection of the branches, with two gold snakes crawling to the cup from the branches.

Знак овальной формы, состоящий из золотых вензелей Императоров Павла I и Николая II под золотой Императорской короной с ниспадающими золотыми лентами, вписанных в латинскую букву С (100 лет), покрытую белой эмалью, и окруженных золотым венком из лавровой — слева и дубовой — справа ветвей. На место пересечения ветвей наложена серебряная «гиппократова чаша», обвитая змеей, покрытой голубой эмалью. Знак носили на левой стороне груди.

Badge for the hundredth anniversary of Imperial Medical Academy.

The badge is oval in shape. It consists of the gold mono-grams of Paul I and Nicholas II topped by a gold Imperial crown with falling gold ribbons. The monograms are inscribed into the Latin letter С (100 year») covered with white enamel and sur-rounded with a gold wreath formed by one laurel (on the left side) and one oak (on the right side) branches. A silver Hippocratic cup entwined with a snake covered with blue enamel is superimposed on the intersection of the branches.

The badge was worn on the left side of the chest.
